Erica’s practice focuses on antitrust and competition law. Her experience includes assisting companies and individuals in domestic and international cartel matters, mergers and acquisitions, and other competition issues. She has extensive expertise in advising clients on the application of the Brazilian antitrust law to complex commercial agreements and unilateral practices, e.g. involving pricing, licensing, distribution system, associative agreements, rebates programs, R&D, among others.

- She moved to Tokyo, Japan in 2013 to study and research competition law at the University of Tokyo – Graduate School for Law and Politics, Japan (2013-2015), sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (Monbukagakusho), and from 2015 to 2016 she served as international counsel at the legal division of a major Japanese trading company in Tokyo, Japan.
