Antônio Corrêa Meyer and José Virgílio Lopes Enei, partners of Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados, believe the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is a powerful instrument to make projects of great social interest feasible, stimulating Brazil’s economic development. However, partnership will only come true if private investors take risks inherent to this new type of arrangement.
