The law firm acted in three transactions awarded by international publications such as Latin Lawyer and IFLR

Machado Meyer was recognized by Latin Lawyer for its participation in transactions awarded in two categories. In "Disputes", we have been recognized for representing Mitsubishi Corporation and Metal One, shareholders of Usiminas, in a lawsuit that discussed the company′s shareholders′ agreement between Nippon Group and Ternium Group. In the "Restructuring" category, we acted for OAS′s creditors in the company′s court reorganization case.

In the 2016 edition of the IFLR Americas Awards, we have been recognized in the category "Equity Deal of the Year", for participating in the public offering of shares worth 16 billion Reais by Telefonica Brazil by virtue of GVT′s acquisition.
