Due to our participation in the pro bono project under the Citizenship Committee, we were one of the winners of TrustLaw Awards, which, under the purview of Thomson Reuters, recognized the most significant, innovative and collaborative pro bono projects around the world.
In the "Innovation" category, we have been recognized for our work in partnership with other law firms and companies on behalf of TETO, an organization present in Latin America and the Caribbean that seeks to overcome the poverty condition affecting millions of people, through the joint actions of residents and young volunteers.
In this project, TETO was provided with a study for the creation of a guide of good practices and legislation with regard to access to housing. These materials must also be used by the competent agencies in connection with the measures to combat exclusion in Latin America.
The event took place on September 24, 2015, in London.
