Brazil’s Machado Meyer Advogados has helped state-owned energy company Petrobras sell a minority stake in its ethanol venture Nova Fronteira Bioenergia to joint venture partner São Martinho, in the latest move by the company to slim its debt burden.
The deal is worth US$133 million.
