Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York and São Paulo and Brazilian firm Machado Meyer Advogados have helped US private equity company Riverwood Capital Management invest US$100 million in Brazilian taxi-hailing service 99.
The deal was announced on 4 January.
