In its second big announcement of the year, Machado meyer Advogados has hired another associate from Pinheiro neto Advogados as partner and promoted nine more to the top rank.

Eduardo Campos Ferreira, 37, left Pinheiro neto to join Machado Mayer’s environmental team. He reinforces the now two-partner department led by Roberta Danelon Leonhardt. This is the second time Machado meyer has poached lawyers from Pinheiro neto in the last two months. In February, the firm announced a double partner hire, bringing another associate from Pinheiro neto and a data and technology partner from the in-house market.
