Machado Meyer Advogados in Rio de Janeiro has helped Petrobras sell an oil field for US$665 million to Australian oil company Karoon, which obtained a reserve-based credit agreement to fund the purchase.
The buyer relied on Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown Rio de Janeiro. The deal closed on 24 July.
