Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and Norton Rose Fulbright in London have helped Brazilian iron miner Manabi merge with the shipping and charter subsidiaries of Brazilian logistics company Maverick in a US$163 million tie-up, in a bid to weather the commodities price drop.
